"Sumgayit" basketball club has reached an agreement with a new player.
The club's press service told "Report" about this.
The Sumgayit representative has signed a 1-year contract with 28-year-old American point guard Keon Clergeot. The 185 cm tall basketball player, after playing for several teams in his country, played for Slovakia's "MBK Handlova", Turkey's "Balıkesir" and "Ormanspor", Portugal's "Lusitanya Expert" and North Macedonia's "Tikvesh" clubs.
Last season, Clergeot averaged 11.8 points per game in the North Macedonian First League.
