The Lithuanian Embassy in Azerbaijan congratulated the "Sabah" basketball club on becoming the champion of Azerbaijan.

"We congratulate the players, coaches, and the entire "Sabah" Basketball Club on winning the Azerbaijan Basketball League! For the fourth time in a row! We are proud that the coaches of the champion team are Lithuanian: head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis, assistant coach Aurimas Jasilionis, assistant coach Mindaugas Janiska, and physical training coach Laimonas Baranskas - all work together magnificently on the field.
Tonight, the Lithuanian public watched the game together with the head coach of the "Sabah" football club, Valdas Dambrauskas, and congratulated the winners. We congratulate the entire "Sabah" Sports Club community and the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation for their great efforts to popularize basketball in the country and encourage the younger generation to actively participate in sports," - we congratulate.
