Erhan Toker: It will be difficult to win 3 games in the final against "Sabah"

"It will be difficult for Abşeron Lions to reach three wins in the final series of the Azerbaijan Basketball League."

This was stated by Erhan Toker, the head coach of Abşeron Lions.

The Turkish specialist said that they will try to compete with a strong opponent.

"The final series also differs from other stages in terms of the number of wins. Here, the first to win 3 games will be the champion. To be honest, it will be difficult to realize this against Sabah, but we will do our best," he said in a statement to report.az.

E.Toker said they were happy to qualify for the final:

"At the beginning of the season, our main goals were to pass the qualification in the Eurocups and successfully compete in the group stage, and to qualify for the final in the Azerbaijan Basketball League. In this regard, we are happy that we have achieved our goals. Until now, we have tried to win every match with a good game. Although it is the final series now, we will still want to show a good game this time."

The head coach also spoke about the condition of the basketball players in the team:

"There were players who played with injuries in the semi-final match against Neftchi. In the second match of the series, James Frazier also injured his hand after a rough foul. In general, the opponent tried to change the situation by playing very hard against Saadettin Donat and Frazier. As a result, such injuries occurred. The participation of both basketball players is questionable. This will only be known at game time. Maybe one of them will be ready. In any case, we will fight to the end with the players we have at our disposal."
