32 national teams have already registered to participate in the Grand Slam judo tournament to be held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on October 11-13.
So far, the French national team has ordered the most athletes - 19 judokas . The UAE will compete with 15, while Azerbaijan and Germany will compete with 14 judokas, Idman.biz reports.
The Azerbaijan team includes Balabay Aghayev, Huseyn Allahyarov (both 60 kg), Ruslan Pashayev, Rashad Yelkiyev (both 66 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev, Nariman Mirzayev (both 73 kg), Zelim Tckaev, Omar Rajabli (both 81 kg), Murad Fatiyev, Musa Huseynli (both 90 kg), Jamal Gamzatkhanov, Imran Yusifov (both +100 kg), Leyla Aliyeva (48 kg) and Acelya Toprak (57 kg).
