The U-20 European Wrestling Championship has started in Caorle, Italy.

On the first day, 5 athletes of the Azerbaijani national team entered the mat, and 3 of them qualified for the semi-finals. All three of them reached the final.

In the semi-final, Turan wrestled with Ukrainian Nazariy Babinski. Our wrestler defeated his opponent with a score of 3:1 and became a finalist.
