The U17 European Wrestling Championship held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, will end today.

Hasan Hasanov (60 kg) and Said Pashayev (92 kg) have reached the final and will fight for gold medals.
Ramal Mirhuseynov (51 kg), who defeated Bugra Kavaka (Turkey) 2:1 in the consolation stage, later defeated Vahan Azaryan (Armenia) 10:6 to win the bronze medal of the U17 European Championship.
Omar Usubov (45 kg) also continues his fight for a bronze medal.
Currently, the Azerbaijani team has 9 medals - 4 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. Rihad Ibrahimli (110 kg), Abdulrahman Huseynli (45 kg), Ravan Hasanzade (48 kg) and Ruslan Alizade (55 kg) became European champions. Ali Nazarov (60 kg) won silver, Gurban Majnunov (48 kg), Nijat Yeylagaliyev (80 kg), Nazrin Ahmadli (46 kg) and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) won bronze medals.
