Two more Azerbaijani wrestlers have reached the final at the U-17 European Championship held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
"Report" informs that on the sixth day of the competition, the fight started in freestyle wrestling in the 45, 51, 60, 71 and 92 kg weights.
Omar Usubov (45 kg), who joined the competition from the 1/4 finals, defeated Ukrainian Daniil Lutsik with a score of 3:0 and advanced to the semi-finals. Omar lost to Russian Umar Rabadanov with a score of 5:12 one step away from the final. Usubov will wrestle against Armenian Aren Piruzyan for the bronze medal tomorrow.
Ramal Mirhuseynov (51 kg) defeated Greek Michail Kokologiannis with a full advantage (10:0), but lost to Russian Akhmed Naibarov with a score of 3:5 in the 1/4 finals. Since his opponent reached the final, Ramal will face Turkish Buğra Kavak in the consolation match tomorrow.
Hasan Hasanov (60 kg) defeated Macedonian Mario Ananiev with a full advantage (11:0) and Armenian Razmik Voskanyan with a score of 3:1 and advanced to the semi-finals. Hasan was stronger than Russian Abdulla Delekov in the semi-finals - 4:0. Hasanov will wrestle against Ukrainian Zorab Aloyev in the final tomorrow.
Isa Yusibov (71 kg) defeated Belarusian Artyom Bolsun with a "touch", but lost to Turkish Ömer Gül in the 1/4 finals - 4:9.
Said Pashayev (92 kg) defeated Slovak Patrik Urbanek with a full advantage (10:0) and Romanian Magor Lorinc with a score of 4:2 and advanced to the semi-finals. Said did not give Ukrainian David Lutskov a chance in the semi-finals - 10:0. Pashayev will face Russian Abdurazak Shabanov in the decisive match.
