Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg), who won a gold medal at the European Championship held in Tirana, Albania, commented on his success.

"Behind the gold medals won in competitions lies great effort and diligence. My impressions are really very good. I am very happy today. I am already winning my fourth consecutive gold medal. Indeed, behind these gold medals lies great labor and effort. After winning gold, you only feel the joy of it, and no difficulties come to mind anymore. Only this gold remains in memory. I dedicate this gold medal, this historic success, to my daughter," Jafarov emphasized.
It should be noted that Jafarov, who defeated Turkish representative Murat Fırat 7:5 in the final match of the 67 kg weight category, became the four-time European champion for the first time in the history of Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling.
