Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Elshad Abbasov (51 kilograms), the Greco-Roman wrestler from Azerbaijan who climbed to the highest step of the podium at the III CIS Games, in his statement to AZERTAC.
The athlete, who defeated Belarusian Tsimafey Semianenka in the final, said he was happy with the result: "I thank everyone who has put effort into me. I want to achieve more serious success."
Speaking about his future goals, the young athlete added: "My biggest goal is to become an Olympic champion."
It should be noted that the CIS Games will end on October 8.
