The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation organized a media tour to Shamakhi on May 23 in connection with International Wrestling Day. During the trip, Asif Shiraliyev, chairman of the AWF Referees Committee, brought to the attention of media representatives the history, types, rules, latest decisions, evaluation of points and other information related to wrestling.
The International Wrestling Rules book, which was created on the initiative of l category judge Ali Babayev, was also presented to the public at the event held as part of the wrestling promotion campaign. It is planned that the book, which contains all the necessary information about wrestling, will be distributed to coaches working in various clubs and societies in the future. Interesting competitions were also held among media representatives at the event.
After the seminar, journalists got acquainted with the conditions created in the wrestling hall operating with the support of the federation in Shamakhi and watched the training process.
