Winners of the "Sea Breeze Cup" beach volleyball tournament determined - PHOTO

The winners of the "Sea Breeze Cup" beach volleyball tournament, organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) and "Sea Breeze Resort", have been determined.

Today, the "Sea Breeze Cup" beach volleyball tournament was held among women and men at the "Sea Breeze Sport Beach Club". 6 men's and 6 women's teams competed in the competition. In the tournament held according to the Olympic system, the preliminary stage games were held in the first half of the day, and the games for prizes were held in the second half.

In the women's competition, "Milli U-18" (Khadija Hadizadeh/Jamila Bashirova) and "AZERRAIL" (Narmin Samadzadeh/Feyza Bolat) competed for the bronze medal, and "Milli" (Fidan Ahmadkhanova/Sabina Alizadeh) and the pair Larisa Smeltsova/Lizi Latsabitze faced each other in the final.

In the men's competition, "Djevo Team" (Heydar Mammadli/Farda Daryayev) and "Alışar" (Mahammad Gurbanov/Samir Ibrahimov) teams competed for the bronze medal, and "AZERRAIL" (Tural Asgarov/Nariman Bayramli) and "Milli" (Mahammad Aslanli/Ibrahim Mammadov) teams competed for the gold medal.

Based on the results of the games, which took place in a tense and interesting competitive environment, in the women's competition, the "Milli U-18" (Khadija Hadizadeh/Jamila Bashirova) team won bronze, the Larisa Smeltsova/Lizi Latsabitze pair won silver, and the "Milli" (Fidan Ahmadkhanova/Sabina Alizadeh) team won gold medals. In the men's competition, the "Djevo Team" (Heydar Mammadli/Farda Daryayev) won the bronze medal, "AZERRAIL" (Tural Asgarov/Nariman Bayramli) won the silver medal, and "Milli" (Mahammad Aslanli/Ibrahim Mammadov) won the gold medal.

After the games, the award and closing ceremony was held. Cups and medals were presented to the winners and awardees.

The awards were presented by the president of AVF Shahin Bagirov, vice-president Bahruz Guliyev, general secretary Faig Orujov, and board member Elgar Bagirov.

It should be noted that quizzes were held among fans during the tournament, and the winners were given various gifts.
