The gold medal won at the III CIS Games is very important for the Russian women's table tennis players.
"Report" reports that this was stated by Zlata Terekova, a member of the Russian national team, in a statement to journalists after the final match.
She said that they were happy to win:
"The game against the Azerbaijani national team was difficult. Despite being excited, we won. We wanted to win. It is a very important gold medal for us. This is not just my medal, but also the medal of my family and those who have contributed to me.".
It should be noted that the table tennis competitions in team, individual, doubles and mixed - doubles categories will end on September 29.
