At the III CIS Games, Azerbaijan was a very strong opponent for the Russian women's team.
This was stated by Yekaterina Drozdova, a member of the team, in a statement to the Report correspondent dispatched to Gabala.
She also thanked her coaches:
"We planned to win. It is gratifying that we were able to achieve what we wanted. It is a matter of pride for me. The Azerbaijani national team is a strong opponent. I thank my coaches. We showed team spirit and won."
It should be noted that the table tennis competitions will end on October 29.
