Sinner defeated Alexander Bublik (Kazakhstan) 3:0 in the 1/4 finals of the Roland Garros - 6:1, 7:6, 6:0. Before Yannik, this result was achieved by Serbian Novak Djokovic, Swiss Roger Federer, Spaniard Rafael Nadal, Australian Rod Laver, Swede Bjorn Borg, Americans Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe and Pete Sampras.
It should be noted that Sinner last lost in a "Grand Slam" tournament in the 1/4 finals of Wimbledon-2024 to Daniil Medvedev (Russia). After that, the Italian tennis player won the US Open-2024 and Australian Open-2025 tournaments.
