World No. 1 Yannik Sinner spoke about his defeat in the Roland Garros 2025 final.
Idman.biz reports that the Italian tennis player said that he still remembers some moments of the match with Carlos Alcaraz.
"Of course, it was a very tough defeat. I think about it, I still think about some moments. It's not over, I know that. I hope I can get back into the rhythm of the game. Carlos and I showed a high level of play. I am very happy about that," Sinner said in his statement.
The Italian athlete will participate in the tournament that will start next week in Germany.
It should be noted that in the final held last Sunday, Sinner was very close to victory when he was leading 2:1 in sets. The Italian, who took a 5:3 lead in the 4th set, lost the advantage - 6:4, 7:6 (7:4), 4:6, 6:7 (3:7), 6:7 (2:10).
