Italian Yannik Sinner, who is ranked number one in the world, is the first tennis player in the last 15 years to beat Novak Djokovic four times in a row.
According to "Report", the 23-year-old athlete achieved this by defeating his opponent in the semi-final of the "Roland Garros" tournament yesterday (3:0).
Sinner beat Djokovic in the final of the Davis Cup in 2023, the Australian Open in 2024 and the tournament in Shanghai.
He is the fifth tennis player to achieve four consecutive victories over the Serbian tennis player. Previously, Andy Roddick in 2009-2010, Rafael Nadal (5 wins) in 2008-2009, Roger Federer in 2006-2007 and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2008-2009 managed to do this.
It should be noted that Yannik Sinner will face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the "Roland Garros" tournament on June 8.
