The second tournament in the "Crocus Fitness Sea Breeze International Padel Cup" series, organized by the Azerbaijan Tennis and Padel Federation, has come to an end.
Idman.biz reports that the awarding ceremony of the international Padel tennis competition was held.
The pair from Italy, Riccardo Sinicropi and Giulio Graziotti, became the champions. They defeated Spanish athletes Adrian Rodriguez and Hector Vasquez – 6:7, 7:5 and 6:2.
Azerbaijani tennis players Tamerlan Azizov and Yusif Rzayev won against other members of our national team, Rasul Gojayev and Kenan Gasimov, in the duel for 3rd place - 6:3, 6:4.
At the event, the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Tennis and Padel Federation, Mehman Gojayev, highly appreciated the importance of the tournament and congratulated the medalists. He stated that the main goal of the tournament is to promote padel in Azerbaijan and to be recognized internationally.
It should be noted that athletes from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Italy, Spain, Sudan, Yemen and Portugal also participated in the competition.
