The finalists have been determined in the women's competition at the Wimbledon Open.
Idman.biz reports that Iga Swiatek (Poland) and Amanda Anisimova (USA) will face off in the decisive match of the 3rd "Grand Slam" tournament of the season.
In the first semi-final match, Anisimova faced Belarusian Arina Sabalenka. All three sets ended with a score of 6:4, and the American tennis player won - 2:1. This will be Amanda's first major final in her career.
Iga Swiatek did not have any difficulties in the match with Belinda Bencic (Switzerland). The Polish athlete faced some resistance only in the first set - 6:2, 6:0. Iga, who has won the "Grand Slam" tournaments five times, will reach her first final in London.
It should be noted that the women's final match will take place on Saturday.
