Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has earned her 100th win on hard courts at Grand Slam tournaments.
İdman.biz reports that she defeated Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the second round of the US Open.
Azarenka won both sets with scores of 6:3. Victoria is the 5th tennis player to reach 100 wins on hard courts. Steffi Graf, Lindsey Davenport, and the Williams sisters have achieved this success before her.
The Belarusian racket master's next opponent will be the winner of the match between Jessica Pegula and Anna Blinkova.
It should be noted that Azarenka, a two-time winner of the Australian Open (2012, 2013), lost three times in the US Open final (2012, 2013, 2020).
