Valentin Vacherot Defeats Djokovic to Reach Shanghai Masters Final

26-year-old Monegasque tennis player Valentin Vacherot has reached the final of the Shanghai tennis tournament.

İdman.Biz reports that he defeated 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic 3-6, 4-6 in the semi-finals.

Thanks to this victory, Vacherot earned more than the amount he had collected during his career - $598,000 (approximately 1,016,600 AZN).

Vacherot also became the lowest-ranked finalist in Masters history. Thanks to this result, he will rise from 204th to 58th place in the ATP ranking.
