The Team League among veterans and amateurs in table tennis has ended.
Idman.biz reports that the competition, which was attended by 11 teams and lasted 4 months, ended with the victory of VITTA (Vagif Fatehi (c), Yashar Movlanov, Marina Kuvayeva, Asgarqulu Heydarli, Rasim Akhundov), which scored 26 points.
The second place was taken by "Tahsil" (Nurlan Pashayev (c), Gadir Mammadov, Azim Poladkhanov, Rahib Safaraliyev, Gambar Mammadov), which scored 23 points. "Everest" (Zabit Bagirov (c), Ali Heydarli, Akif Zeynalov, Tatyana Aliulina) with 21 points took the third place.
At the awarding ceremony organized within the framework of the country's veteran athletes championship, the distinguished teams were awarded diplomas and cash prizes. In order to preserve the tradition of the tournament, the winning team was also presented with a symbolic transitional cup.
