Table tennis players who successfully competed at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, have returned to their homeland today.
Idman.Biz reports that members of our national team were greeted at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by representatives of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation, members of the media, and relatives of the athletes.
It should be noted that the table tennis players finished the Riyadh trials with two bronze medals. Adil Ahmadzade and Marziyya Nurmatova took third place in the mixed doubles, and the team consisting of Marziyya Nurmatova, Zemfira Mikayilova, and Aylin Asgarova took third place in the team competition.
