Sinner becomes the fifth tennis player to lead the ATP ranking for at least 50 weeks

Italian Jannik Sinner has become the fifth tennis player to lead the ATP rankings for at least 50 weeks.

"Report" reports with reference to foreign media that previously Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 53 weeks), Lleyton Hewitt (Australia, 75 weeks), Jimmy Connors (USA, 160 weeks) and Roger Federer (Switzerland, 237 weeks) have achieved this.

It should be noted that Yannis Sinner lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the "Masters" tournament held in Rome yesterday. The 23-year-old tennis player, who has won 19 ATP titles in his career, has been leading the ranking since June 2024.
