The first tournament in the "Crocus Fitness Sea Breeze International Padel Cup" series for padel tennis has concluded.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation (ATF) informed "Report" about this.
The competition was organized by the ATF and the Azerbaijan Padel Federation.
All prize-winners have been determined in the international competition. The Italian pair Riccardo Sinicropi-Giulio Graziotti became the champion. Spanish athletes Adrian Rodriguez and Hector Vasquez finished second. Azerbaijani tennis player Rasul Gojayev, in a duet with Sudanese Ali Ahmad, took third place.
Athletes from Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Italy, Spain, Sudan, Yemen and Portugal also participated in the competition, which is designed to further develop padel sports in Azerbaijan, along with Azerbaijani athletes.
The second tournament of the series will last from June 24 to 27. The main goal of the competition is to promote padel in Azerbaijan and to recognize it internationally.
