Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has issued a statement regarding the use of his image and voice in videos created for fraud using artificial intelligence.

"Although this statement is unusual for me on social media, I consider it necessary. My team and I have discovered fake videos on various platforms that have been created using artificial intelligence, where someone looks and sounds like me.
These videos promote investment advice or make offers in my name that are not mine. They are part of a fake advertising scheme. Please note: I have not created or endorsed this content. Thank you for your support!" Nadal wrote on his personal social media page.
