World No. 358, German tennis player Mats Rosenkranz, has been disqualified for taking a shower during a set break.
"Report" reports that the incident occurred at the "Challenger" tournament held in Hersonissos, Greece.
He took a toilet break and went to take a shower after winning the first set 7-5 in the second round match against World No. 561 Pietro Fellini (Italy).
The match referee called the supervisor and disqualified the German. Mats Rosenkranz stated that he was unaware of such a ban.
It should be noted that this rule is related to doping. Tennis players are not allowed to take showers during matches, with the exception of five-set matches in "Grand Slam" tournaments.
