The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has disqualified two players.
According to "Report", citing the organization's press service, Croatian tennis player Lauro Milanovic was punished with an 8-year ban and fined $10,000.
This was due to the athlete betting 15 times on a match in which his friend participated in 2018. He won all of these bets. L. Milanovic refused to cooperate with the investigation.
The other tennis player who was disqualified is Rakhimbek Ibragimov from Uzbekistan. He has been suspended from tennis for 21 months and fined $5,000.
The Uzbek tennis player, whose name was mentioned in connection with two suspicious matches in 2022, also refused to cooperate with the investigation.
