The women's final match was held at the Wimbledon Open.
Idman.biz reports that Iga Swiatek (Poland) and Amanda Anisimova (USA) faced off in the decisive match of the 3rd Grand Slam tournament of the season.
The expected fight was not recorded in the meeting. The Polish racket master won both sets with a score of 6:0. This was Swiatek's 6th victory in Grand Slam competitions and her first victory at the Wimbledon Open. Before that, Iga won four times at Roland Garros and once at the US Open.
Anisimova suffered a heavy defeat in her first major final.
