Wimbledon has started: tennis players have started competing in the "Grand Slam" tournament.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, British tennis player Emma Raducanu is among the main stars of the court. The number one tennis player in Great Britain gained fame after winning the US Open Championship in 2021, when Emma was only 18 years old.
Although the 22-year-old athlete is already an experienced player, it is worth remembering that this will be her fourth Wimbledon competition. After undergoing surgery on both wrists and ankles in 2023, she fell into the top 300, but has now raised her ranking back to 40th place.
