Azerbaijani table tennis players are showing high results at the III CIS Games.
According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to Gabala, this was stated by the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation, Elmar Islam, in his statement to journalists.
He emphasized that the competition was held at a high level:
"The competition is organized at a very high level. Together with the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation, the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we are constantly working to develop this sport. As for the competition, our athletes are showing high results. Today they won a silver medal. In the second half of the day, we had athletes who reached the final. We expect good results in the final. We are satisfied with the athletes. Onur, Marziya, Yagmur are also performing well. We expect good results and a gold medal from all athletes."
It should be noted that the table tennis competitions at the III CIS Games will end on September 29.
