The final of the "Shanghai Masters" tournament in China will feature a match between the world's 54th-ranked player Arthur Rinderknech and the 204th-ranked player Valentin Vacherot.

26-year-old Vacherot reached the final by defeating Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik, Denmark's Holger Rune, and Serbian legend Novak Djokovic.
30-year-old Rinderknech defeated Germany's Alexander Zverev, Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Russian Daniil Medvedev on his way to the final.
