Russian comedian Filipp Voronin noted that if American actor Will Smith can't do it, he could portray four-time "Grand Slam" champion and world No. 2, Italian Jannik Sinner, in the movie.
Idman.Biz reports that Voronin wrote about it on social media: "If Will Smith can't do it, I'm ready to play Jannik Sinner."
Sinner had previously noted that Smith could portray him in the film.
The Russian actor photoshopped his own picture onto Sinner's picture taken while winning the Wimbledon 2025 champion title, signaling that he accepted the Italian's offer.
This week, Yannik Sinner is performing at the "Six Kings Slam" exhibition tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He will face world No. 1, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, in the final.
