Azerbaijani table tennis players have won 4 medals at the traditional tournament dedicated to the memory of Rafik Shiriyev in Andijan, Uzbekistan. Sport24.az reports that the best result was shown by Mehin Mirzabalaeva.
The athlete, who defeated all rivals among athletes under 13 years old, climbed to the highest step of the podium. Gulnur Karimli (U-11), who lost only in the final, finished the competition second, and Saida Guluzade (U-13) and Yagmur Mammadli (U-15) finished third.
Let us remind you that Onur Guluzade took the second place, and Jafar Almadadli and Mehin Mirzabalaeva took the third place at the "WTT Youth Contender" tournament held in Tashkent from May 13 to 16. The team competed in the tournament under the leadership of Elnur Hidayatzade and Ramil Jafarov, head coaches of the youth national teams.
