Aryna Sabalenka Secures Second Victory at WTA Finals, Defeating Jessica Pegula

Four-time Grand Slam champion and world number one, Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka defeated American Jessica Pegula (fifth seed) with scores of 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 at the WTA Finals.

Idman.Biz reports that the match lasted 2 hours and 3 minutes.

This victory over Pegula was Sabalenka's second victory at the 2025 WTA Finals. Sabalenka has solidified her lead in Steffi Graf's group.

Along with Sabalenka and Pegula, Cori Gauff has also secured her place in the playoffs. Italian Jasmine Paolini finished fourth in her group.
