Four-time Grand Slam champion and world number one, Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, has received a trophy for finishing the 2025 season as the world's number one tennis player.
Idman.Biz reports that the award ceremony took place before the start of the 2025 WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Sabalenka will finish 2025 as the world number one even if she loses all her group stage matches in the finals. Six-time Grand Slam champion, Polish Iga Swiatek will remain in second place.
This season, Aryna Sabalenka won the US Open, the ATP 1000 tournaments in Miami and Madrid, and the ATP 500 tournament in Brisbane (Australia).
