The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) continues its activities to strengthen the fight against doping in the country and raise awareness of the sports community in this area.
Idman.biz reports that the next seminar in this framework was organized for young and junior athletes of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation.
The main purpose of the seminar was to inform table tennis players about anti-doping rules, the rights and obligations of athletes, as well as doping control strategies.
Participants were thoroughly explained about prohibited substances and methods, the doping control process, the role of athletes in this process, and result management mechanisms. It was emphasized that in some cases, athletes may unknowingly or carelessly take medications containing a prohibited substance. Therefore, each athlete must carefully check the composition of the drugs used.
The seminar was held in an interactive format, and participants had the opportunity to address their questions directly to specialists.
