The Baku Padel Tennis Championship, organized by the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that both male and female athletes competed in the tournament, which was held for the first time at the Baku Tennis Academy.
24 athletes participated in the championship, which was dedicated to May 28 Independence Day.
The final matches of the three-day competition were held on the last day.
In the women's competition, Yelizaveta Sokolova and Rima Karimli took first place, Leyla Almisakova and Marison Garcia took second place, and the pair of Mehin Gojayeva and Zarif Suleymanova took third place.
In the men's competition, Yusif Rzayev and Ilyas Hasanli took first place, Rasul Gojayev and Gleb Pivovarov took second place, and the pair of Farid Dadashov and Elman Alasgarov took third place.
