Our three-time world champion in para judo, Ilham Zekiev, will travel tomorrow to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, to compete in the world championship. Sport24.az reports that the experienced athlete will compete for the eighth time in the world championship.
It should be noted that Ilham Zekiev is a three-time Paralympic champion, a ten-time European champion and the winner of the 2015 European Games. He is an Honored Master of Sports of Azerbaijan, an Honored Coach and holds a 7th‑degree rank. Zekiev also participated in the First Karabakh War.
