Members of the Azerbaijani women’s national team, the coaching staff and staff of AFFA’s Women’s Football Department were at Karabakh University. Sport24.az reports that during the visit the national members met with the university’s female students.
The meeting included a discussion on the development and promotion of women’s football and on attracting girls to football and sports.
During the event a signing session was organized with the participation of footballers and a promotional video clip for women’s football was shown. Afterwards a panel was held to answer students’ questions. The team’s players and coaches shared their experiences with the students.
Later in the programme the delegation visited the university’s library and laboratories.
At the end of the visit the team members, coaching staff and AFFA delegates visited Victory Park in the city of Khankendi.
