The "President's Cup" sailing tournament in Baku Bay, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation, has concluded. The winners of the regatta, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, were determined based on the athletes' scores over two days.
İdman.Biz reports that Kamilla Hasanova took first place in the "Optimist" class, where athletes under 12 years old competed. In the same class, Sama Mansurzade won in the girls' competition, and Kamal Bashirli won in the overall category, surpassing all his rivals. In the "ILCA 4" class, in the overall category, Nazrin Mammadova rose to the highest step of the podium.
In the end, the distinguished athletes were awarded diplomas and medals.
