The first competition day of the Azerbaijan championship in rowing and canoe, organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation, has concluded.
İdman.Biz reports that on the first day of the championship athletes competed for 11 sets of medals.
The winners will be awarded diplomas and medals, and will also be invited to join the team participating in the international Mingachevir Regatta, to be held from September 29 to October 2.
It should be noted that in the national championship, athletes compete in academic rowing and kayak in one- and two-person boats, and in canoe in single-person boats. The Azerbaijan championship will be finalized on September 2.
