I would like to thank our management and everyone who contributed for creating these conditions for us. I believe that the creation of such conditions within three months is a very special opportunity. Therefore, I express my particular gratitude to them. Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Aysen Abdulazimova, a member of the "Turan" women's volleyball team, in her statement after defeating the Croatian club "Mladost" with a score of 3:0 in the CEV Champions League.
The volleyball player noted that there was more excitement in the first set, but the team later got into the rhythm of the game: "It was the first game, the first excitement. We were more nervous in the first set. But then we got the rhythm and reduced our tension. I think the sets passed very quickly. Nevertheless, the return match is more important. Even though we are happy with the win today, we must prepare more seriously for the next match. We had a bit more difficulty in the last set. There was excitement in the first set, and a sense of certain relaxation in the last one."
According to the athlete, the return match will be more difficult: "We applied what we planned while preparing for this game on the court. The return match will be more difficult because we will play away. Therefore, we must prepare seriously for the next match and do our best for the victory."
