The presentation ceremony of the book "From Foundation to Detail" prepared by Roman Yahoda, the responsible person for the Physiotherapy education program of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) and the executive director of the Austrian "Complex Core+" organization, was held.
According to "Report", the presentation ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, ASA Rector Fuad Hajiyev, responsible persons of a number of state institutions, military personnel, veterans, academy employees, sports experts and other guests.
It was stated in the speeches that, based on the complex rehabilitation and recovery exercises reflected in this book and referring to the protocols of the UCL University of Great Britain, under the leadership of Professor Mike Luzmore, head of the Academy's master's program, with the participation of employees of the ASA's sports medical research laboratory, graduates of the "Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation" master's program, and with the support of the team of the author of this book, the head of the Austrian "Complex Core" organization, the responsible person of the Academy's "Physiotherapy" program, Roman Yahoda, the rehabilitation of military personnel and veterans, as well as functional diagnostics and medical-biological support of athletes of national teams were carried out.
75% of the 110 military personnel who underwent rehabilitation during the war and post-war period returned to the army after their health was restored.
Functional diagnostics and medical-biological support of more than 500 athletes of national federations and clubs in various sports have been carried out in the sports medical research laboratory.
This book, which is a joint project of ASA and the "Complex Core" organization, is the first educational resource published in our country in this field.
The content-appropriate photo shoots of the book on the topics of rehabilitation, sports training, and physical exercises were conducted in "MediaLab" with the participation of students, and the design was carried out at the Sports Academy through sports journalism masters.
It was stated that the book will be a guide for students as a textbook, as well as for physiotherapists, coaches, and fitness professionals that they can use in their daily work activities.
Later, the author signed books for readers and answered their questions.
