The Azerbaijan Weightlifting Championship has come to an end. According to Sport24.az, the winners and prize-winners among men were determined on the final day of the competition.
Said Mahmudov (55 kg) with a total of 171 kg, Amin Osmanov (61 kg) 231 kg, Tehran Mammadov (67 kg) 277 kg, Isa Rustamov (73 kg) 328 kg, Elkhan Aliguluzade (81 kg) 325 kg, Nurlan Rasulov (89 kg) 330 kg, Nurlan Mammadzade (96 kg) 290 kg, Mammad Ahmadzade (102 kg) 282 kg, Azer Mammadli (+109 kg) 330 kg became champions.
Isa Rustamov was selected as the best male athlete of the competition. Rahila Huseynova was awarded the title of the best female athlete.
Based on the results of the tournament, the best male and female teams were also determined. Among men, Gazakh was first, Lankaran second, and Absheron third. Among women, the Gazakh, Lankaran, and Ismayilli teams took the respective places.
It should be noted that about 100 athletes competed in the Azerbaijan Championship.
