According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the crime occurred on the night of May 7. The information has also been confirmed by the club where he last worked.
According to another report, the attacker was the ex-boyfriend of Isayev's girlfriend, and he opened fire with a hunting rifle.
The suspect has been detained. He is 41 years old and tried to flee after the murder, but security forces apprehended him near the city of Kaluga.
