The director of the Guba Olympic Sports Complex has been arrested.
İdman.Biz reports, citing report.az, that investigations conducted by the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption at the Prosecutor General's Office revealed the illegal activities of Rashid Orujov, director of the JSC "Azəridmanservis" Guba Sports, Recreation, Training and Education Complex, and accountant Vidadi Shirinov.
Both individuals are accused of embezzlement and official crimes. It is noted that the damage in the case exceeds half a million manats.
The Binəqədi District Court decided to choose detention as the preventive measure for R. Orujov and V. Shirinov.
