Azerbaijani wrestler Jale Aliyeva (57 kg) won a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
According to "Report", she faced Jenna Hemiae (Finland) in the match for third place.
Winning a determined victory, J. Aliyeva won the bronze award.
It should be noted that earlier, freestyle wrestlers won 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) became the European champion, Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won silver, Islam Bazarghanov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) and Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) won bronze medals.
The Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team became the European champion in the team standings. The continental championship will end on April 13.
