In the first stage of the tournament, teams have scored a total of 187 goals in the 45 matches played so far, which means an average of 4.2 goals per match.
Such an indicator was last recorded in the 1959/60 season when the competition was called the "European Cup".
It is worth noting that, based on the current standings, PSG (9 points), "Liverpool" (9 points) and "Stuttgart" (7 points) occupy the top three places in the League stage.
