The opening ceremony of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, has concluded.
According to Idman.Biz, the event took place in "Al Janadryah."
At the opening ceremony parade, Azerbaijani flag was carried by weightlifter Dadash Dadashbayli and volleyball player Nilufer Agazade.
More than 3,000 athletes from 57 countries are competing for medals in 23 sports in the tournament.
Azerbaijan is represented in the competition with 174 athletes in 20 sports.
It should be noted that the closing ceremony of the Islamic Games will be held on November 21.

The opening ceremony featured footage from previous games, including the 4th Islamic Games in Baku.
