Olympic bobsleigh champion Lisa Buckwitz has announced that she manages an account on the OnlyFans platform to finance her preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Idman.Biz reports that the athlete has openly justified her decision and stated that she does not see it as unusual, as it is difficult to ensure a high-level preparation process without additional financial support.
"This is sponsorship for me. It allows me to continue my service in the armed forces and practice my sport in parallel. There is nothing abnormal here," said Buckwitz.
It should be noted that OnlyFans is an online paid content platform where users access creators' shared material on a monthly subscription basis. Although the platform has content on various topics, it is mostly known for 18+ content, and some athletes use it as a source of financial support and a sponsor alternative.
